Boardwalk Boutique Hotel Aruba is calling all creatives to apply for our artist in residency program.
This is your chance to reside and create in a tranquil, authentic and happy adults-only Boutique Hotel, whether your medium is music, drama, sculpture, writing, painting, poetry, dance—or anything in between.
Come stay, create, and be inspired at Boardwalk in Aruba!
Who?
Creatives from all disciplines who are passionate about art, culture and community from across the U.S., Canada, the Caribbean, Latin America, and Europe.
When?
Applications are open until July 25, 2025 with residencies available between September 15 and November 15 2025, ranging from 6 nights up to 4 weeks.
What’s Included in the Residency:
- A 6-night to 4-week stay in a private casita, with one bedroom transformed into a dedicated creative studio
- A rental car for island exploration and inspiration
- One nourishing meal per day at The Coco Café
- Concierge support to help you connect with Aruba’s local creative community
- Weekly storytelling shared across Boardwalk’s social channels to amplify your journey
- Note: flights are not included in the residency
Your assignment:
We invite you to leave a legacy behind - a piece we can keep or a performance we can capture as a lasting expression of your time on the island.
We also encourage meaningful connections with the local community, through workshops, showcases, or visits to local art establishments that celebrate Aruba’s vibrant cultural scene.
